To me, only live bait works really good for really big bass. It’s like they’ve grown too old too smart for artificial lures. I couldn’t get anything with the most expensive of swimbaits and when I threw in live bait, they took it. That’s why all the record holders caught them off of live bait. George Perry’s was off a live crawdad and Manabu’s was off a live bluegill.

Easy to buy them at a local bait and tackle store for cheap

Gold Fish are legal in Georgia. But only in moving waters. they work good for flat heads.

@gentleman698 Fishing gold fish is illegal. very very effective. the next best thing is gold minnows. they dont get very big though. i fu get caught fishing with gold fish u go str8 to jail. if u get away with it u’ll probubly end up catching monsters. g/l

I don’t see why you could’nt, long as it’s not too large, bass will eat just about anything alive, as long as she can swallow it, and sometimes even if they can’t they will still try, i’ve found them dead floating, with a large bait stuck in their throat, yeah, give it a try, we have nothing to lose, and everything to gain, like knowledge!
